What is the School Improvement Program?

School Improvement assists districts with staff development, curriculum development, district planning/organization, and general support for implementing school improvement activities. The focus is on addressing the NYS Standards and Assessment strategies. Each participating district is a part of the base service which supports:

  • Technical assistance for district-wide planning.
  • Regional training for school improvement leadership
  • Awareness and coordination of state and national initiatives.
  • Assistance with conference day planning.
  • Resource identification for program development.
